Meet Our Staff

rashmi

Executive Director

WCGL welcomes Rashmi to the team. She brings more than two decades of experience advancing women’s and children’s health in Mid-Michigan. Most recently, she served as a Prevention Specialist at Eaton RESA, with additional experience in program development, community health strategy, and cross-sector collaboration at both the county and state levels. She has also mentored emerging public health professionals and contributed to workforce development initiatives across the region.

“As a leader, I focus on understanding both systems and lived experiences,” Travis said. “That means identifying gaps, reducing stigma, and building pathways to care that are practical, respectful, and effective. When women are supported in making informed choices about their health and well-being, entire communities benefit.”
