We have the opportunity to bring the inspirational film Girl Rising to the Lansing area on March 28th.

The film is based on girls from 10 different countries. Each must overcome hardships that have been forced on them in order to raise their hand in a classroom. Education for these girls is not a priority in their community. With little help from others they rise up and find a way to make an education possible.
Celebrities, such as Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Liam Neeson, will have voice performances throughout the movie.
